What is the Electron Beam Sterilization (ÀüÀÚºö ¸ê±Õ)
The method is that the adhered microorganism to the product is sterilized and perished by the electron flow having high-energy (Electron Beam). This method has been applied to various industry fields in many developped countries already.
Advantage of Electron Beam 1. The Electron Beam penetrates into material and could sterilize a sample after packing. - Suitable for a sample which a gas or chemical sterilization can¡¯t be penetrated into. 2. The Electron Beam doesn¡¯t have less heating, coloring and smell change than gamma sterilization. 3. It¡¯s easy for detection of Sterilization Validation. - The Electron Beam manages sterilization by the radiation dose only and the related international standard is already settled (ISO11137). 4. The Electron Beam doesn¡¯t release any residue or waste. - A customer doesn¡¯t require gas handling or residue gas measurement because it doesn¡¯t release any harmful residue which is generated during EO Gas Sterilization. - Because it doesn¡¯t generate radioactive waste, it could be applied more widely.
